Truman High School's Production of "The House of Bernarda Alba" - May 1, 2, 3 and 4 (Wed. thru Sat.) at 7pm. The school is located at 3301 S Noland Road, Independence, MO. We will have a different ABF dog at each performance for a meet and greet at intermission.

Car Cruise for Pets: Bring Your Classic or Exotic Vehicle - Saturday, May 4th, at Lakewood Oaks Golf Club, 651 NE St Andrews Circle, Lee's Summit, MO.  $5 Early Bird Breakfast from 9am-10am.  Classic Drive In Cookout from 10am-2pm.  Prizes awarded to the best vehicle.  Fun for the whole family with music, face painting and a silent auction!  ABF will be bringing some of our available dogs for you to meet. This is a new event for the Golf Club and ABF and we're hoping for a big turnout.  See you there!

Pets in the Park - Saturday, May 18th, from 10am-1pm at Waterfall Park, 4501 S Bass Pro Dr, Independence, MO.  This is a free event for pets and their families. Activities include a pet parade, pet contests, food and local vendors with pet products and services. Be sure to stop by our booth and visit with our adoptable dogs!
