D.O.B. July 03, 2009 Hi my name is Paige.  That’s what they named me at the rescue.  My foster mom calls me all kinds of names.  I like it best when she calls me Honey or Pretty girl.  Sometimes she calls me Paiger.  So if you decide you want to give me a forever home you can call me anything you want…as long as you give me lots of lovin’.  I will let you know when I need more attention.  My foster mom says I talk to loud sometimes.  But she has finally figured out that’s when I need more lovin’ or attention.  She thinks it’s wonderful that the only time I bark is when I need love from someone or I want my foster dog brothers to play with me.

I love to play with my red kong toy and the new boy dog in our house.  I get along with everyone.  I am a little shy around men at first when they are in my home.  In public I love everyone to see me and pay attention to me.

My foster mom has also hung bells on the back door knob.  When I want to go out I just ring them and she lets me out.  I have done well at going out to potty and not in the house.  Foster Mom says I am easily taught what I need to do.

As you can tell from my pictures I really love to play with other dogs.  I live with 2 boy dogs and my foster mom’s granddog comes over to play with me sometimes.  I would do real swell in a forever home that has another dog.   One of the boy dogs here is kinda older!  He gets a little cranky sometimes with me when I try to play with him.  I will easily share my toys.  I like to play with my younger dog friend while we wrestle with the kong toy.  I have not been around small children and we don’t have cats in our house so I am not sure what I would do.

I don’t mind staying in my bed (crate) all day when my foster parents are at work.  My foster brothers and I are sure glad to see each other and our parents when they get home.   They always give us a treat when they leave in the morning and lots of love when they return.   The older dog gets fussy when I kiss him in the face when we get out of our beds.  But I am soooo happy to see everyone.

Foster Mom really loves my long ears and the wrinkles on my forehead when I look down.  If you look close you might see lip marks on my head.  She’s always kissing my head.

My Foster Mom told me she has never seen a dog that comes so well when you call.  Sometimes she only taps on the window of the door and I come running.  She also told me to remind you that I am not food aggressive.  Sometimes I get my ears wet and a drippy chin after I get a drink… foster mom wipes my mouth for me since I can’t.  I don’t mind it either.
